Description

Construction Notice: The Bear Necessities is currently in the process of adding steps leading from the home to the dock area. As of now, construction will be ongoing from Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm, through May 9th, 2024, and the dock area may be limited or inaccessible during that time. Work will cease on weekends Thursday-Sunday, but please note that construction equipment and materials may be present in the construction zone. Construction timeframe is subject to change should unforeseen circumstances delay work.

This house was the perfect place to spend our weekend getaway. My family of 5 absolutely loved the pool, the access to the lake and the beautiful views the house had to offer. We loved our weekend at this house so much we already booked it again for the fall.We wish there was access to a grill and thought the kitchen needed more functional supplies like coffee cups, spatulas, pans, etc. Other than those minor things, the house was wonderful! Can’t wait to visit again!

Very nice, comfy house we got. Loved the location and house. Loved the pool and pool table. So much to do around the house we didn't have to go anywhere. We had some maintenance issues with lights that they fixed immediately upon our request. Just the mattress comfort, HVAC unit operation, and trash can quantity in the house are our only critiques. We would definitely come back to this house when we rent again.

This was Spring Break for our grandsons, ages 7 and 4; both are dedicated swimmers and spent hours in the pool. We hiked teails and ate famous donuts; read books and even went to the movies. The weather was so beautiful and could be enjoyed from every room.

Very nice house. The pool and pool table were amazing for the kids. It was very comfy. Wished the elevator worked. We had a great time. Three ideas for improvements would be more trash cans in every room, more comfy mattresses, a tutorial on the HVAC thermostats and how they work. If we would rent again we would definitely come back to this house.
