This inviting lake access home with a boat slip, is located in the Lake Pointe Subdivision, directly across from Wisp Resort. Nestled between Wisp Ski & Golf Resort and Deep Creek Lake, just off popular Marsh Hill Road, Cabin & Canoe at Lake Pointe offers the best of all four seasons. No matter the time of year, wonderful memories are sure to be made! Lounge out in the living area in front of the fire or read a book in the coziness of the sunroom. Let the bubbles of the hot tub alleviate any stress or relax around the fire pit enjoying s'mores and telling stories before climbing the spiral stairs to upstairs queen suite or collapse in either of the two main level queen bedrooms. The Lake Pointe community offers a tennis court, a common lake front area with boat dock, where your dedicated boat slip is waiting for you, and a lakeside deck with seating. ACCESS DETAILS:
Approximately .2 miles to Wisp Lodge Ticket Window with access to all slopes. Distance includes walk out of community, across Marsh Hill Road and through Wisp parking area. Slope availability does vary throughout the season. View Wisp Resort trail map here. There is a community dock located along the lakefront of this community, with each space assigned to a specific home. The slip for Cabin & Canoe is available for guest use with the dock number posted in the red Welcome Binder that is in the house. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We had a very nice stay at Cabin and Canoe. The house was clean and mostly comfortable. When we booked, we didn’t notice that the only way to get to the second floor primary bedroom suite is by spiral staircase, so make sure you can manage this type of staircase before booking. It was a bit of a challenge to get heavy suitcases up the stairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with essential cooking implements, pots and pans, and dishes. WiFi, air conditioning, hot tub, and washer/dryer were in good working order. The key pad entry made coming and going very easy. We did have issues with the grill not heating up enough to cook properly. We had to cook on the stovetop instead. And we had a problem with the broiler not heating up enough to cook steaks properly which was a bummer. We love the Lake Pointe location as it’s close to everything. It’s also nice to have a dock slip and access to a tennis court. The water near the dock is very grassy so not good for swimming. We would definitely consider staying at Cabin and Canoe in the future.

Cabin & Canoe was spotless!!!! We stay at Deep Creek annually, and by far, this home was the cleanest we’ve encountered, which makes vacation so much more comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, with two refrigerators, quality china and silverware, and every type of appliance and cookware imaginable. In terms of decor, it is tasteful, though a little dated with wallpaper borders. Its beds were comfortable, and its hot tub was new and spotless. Most importantly, the walk to the lake and to our boat slip was quick. How wonderful to be on the water so quickly and easily! We’ll definitely return to this home and to others in the Lake Pointe subdivision.

Very nice, clean house. Spacious and accommodating for 8 people. Pictures are accurate as shown. Short walk to Wisp (3 min) and to the dock (1 min). Having your own slip on the dock is great, for your own watercraft, or for delivery (by boat). Would certainly stay again. Also, office seemed well run and organized.

We had an awesome trip! We loved access to the boat dock. Railey did an outstanding job at responding to our concerns. The only reason we wouldn’t recommend this Is because in the future we are looking a larger place for more people. The home was appropriately priced.
