Just like the warmth and comfort that the morning light brings, this home will welcome you in with a sense of peace and relaxation. Located in the Thousand Acres Community, just off Hole 3 of the golf course, Morning Light offers beautiful views, plush furnishings, and plenty of space to gather. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the golf course while you breathe in the fresh mountain air. Spend those sunny afternoons relaxing on the sun-soaked deck and evenings curled up on the sectional in front of the stunning stone fireplace. With an open concept kitchen, living, and dining area, there is plenty of space to come together and entertain during your stay. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the tucked away loft space - perfect for some alone time with a good book, or to challenge each other in a game of foosball. When the weather is good, hop in the car and head out to enjoy the lake and all the activities the area has to offer. Just a short drive will place you at the heart of the lake full of fantastic restaurants, the State Park, and so much more. At the end of the day, return home to relax in the hot tub and let the warm bubble soothe your muscles and your stresses. Hiking/Cross Country Skiing trails are located throughout the Thousand Acres Community and are accessible for guests during their stay. 

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy

Nice quiet location, but only 10 minutes to main Lake area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would have at home. Just need your clothes and be ready to relax.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Morning Light! It was so peaceful staying there for the week. King bed is on the firm side, not my personal preference. It is a little further out than we normally go for, about 20-25 minutes to get to McHenry. We don’t play golf, though it was quite entertaining to watch golfers tee off at #3 from the back porch! But that was ok as we didn’t have to deal with noise from neighbors or traffic. All appliances worked great. Hot tub was a great amenity as well. No real issues. This is definitely the place if you want privacy, peace and quiet!
